#19: Hot-dogs

It is October and warm enough to wear tank tops and shorts.

Tanks tops! In October! I am very excited!!! (Exclamation points!!!)

The side effects of the sun.

Yes. When you lay out in the sun you start resembling a 7 year old dork in pictures. Oops, did I say that out loud…What I meant to say was: you get a sunburn.

I got a sunburn today. =) So, I decided to look up sunburn remedies.

One site suggested rubbing mustard on the sunburn and leaving it on until it dries.

Okay, I like mustard. Alot! I eat it with brownies. But there is NO way that I am going to rub it on my skin. I mean, first of all, what a waste of mustard! (Think of all the brownies you could put it on.) Also, who wants to smell like a hot-dog stand for an hour? I mean, why don’t you just add sauerkraut while you’re at it?

Wait!! You can! Well, if you skip the cabbage and just add the vinegar. Yes, another home remedy for relieving a sunburn is to rub vinegar on your skin. So, if you do the mustard first and then once that dries, you rub on the vinegar…you are half-way to a hot-dog.

Now if I could just find some crazy website that claims ketchup heals sunburns…
