I hope you smile.
I just want you all to know that I am NOT geeky. I once took an Are You a Geek Test and got this score:
But all that being said, I did find some totally awesome, yet geeky, google Easter eggs. What are Easter eggs? Not the things that they roll on the White House Lawn.
A virtual Easter egg is an intentional hidden message, in-joke or feature in a work such as a computer program, web page, video game, movie, book or crossword. The term was coined—according to Warren Robinett—by Atari after they were pointed to the secret message left by Robinett in the game. It draws a parallel with the custom of the Easter egg hunt observed in many Western nations as well as the last Russian imperial family’s tradition of giving elaborately jeweled egg-shaped creations by Carl Faberg which contained hidden surprises.”
Gotta love wikipedia! =)
So here are some pretty legit Easter eggs for when you want to be a gook, (that is my incredibly awkward combination of ‘google’ and ‘geek.’ :-))
1) Google the word “tilt”
2) Google “the answer to life the universe and everything”
