#39: Brilliant Nonsense and Other Reasons Why I’m Not Rich, Famous, or Even Popular

On occasion, I feel inspired to write something brilliant. I literally feel inspired. Like I can physically feel inspiration. I know. It’s wierd. I’m weird.

The problem with my sporadic inspiration is I never know exactly what to write. And so I just write. And I will write an amazing piece of literature. On nothing. Kind of like Seinfield but without the commercials.

I know I’m a good writer. I’ve been told I’m a good writer by people outside of my family so I know it’s true. But for some reason I have trouble finding stuff to write about.

I think they call it writer’s block. And I hope they have a prescription for it. Oh. They do. It’s called Life Experience. Of which I have none.

I feel bad for you. You have to read it.

Then there’s the flipside of that. Which is just as bad. Quite often I am required to write an essay on something. And I am uninspired. So the essay is not amazing. It’s not anything. It’s dull and rather un-awesome.

I know it’s possible to make the Constitution interesting. I just don’t know how.

I feel bad for you. You have to read it.

But truth is, you guys are the ones reading my odd blog posts. You’re choosing this! You have brought it upon yourself.

On second thought, I don’t feel bad for you.

Smile!!!

Lol! You are funny. I know I say that every time, but it’s so so true. The other difference between you and me, is that when you have nothing to say you still write and end up sounding clever. When I have nothing to say I either don’t write, or I write about something lame… hmm…like when you wrote about subscribing to the Barbie magazine. That was hilarious!

Aww! Thanks! =) Although I must say I think you are giving me too much credit and not enough to yourself. =)

Don’t feel to bad about your essays. They were the bane of my high school experience. I just couldn’t get anywhere with them.

And there is a very good reason to read your blog posts.
