I hope you smile.
A couple of days ago–well actually it was quite awhile ago–so before I got sick I got a chance to catch up with an old acquaintance at a wedding. (I love saying “old acquaintance” it makes me feel mature even if the computer had to autocorrect it for me both times. I also love that “autocorrect” is kind of a verb. How fun is life!?!)
Anyways, so a couple of weeks ago I had a chance to catch up with an old acquaintance and she casually mentioned she had a blog.
“You have a blog too!?!” I asked excitedly. I was happy that we had something in common. Something we could talk and bond over. In my naive state I imagined us following each others blogs and leaving encouraging comments.
“Yea,” she replied, (somewhat haughtily), “just I only post pictures. I don’t see why you would want to read a blog.”
The other girls nodded in agreement and I decided we should try to find something else in common.
But the thing is, I love reading blogs. I really do. I’m kind of addicted to it. I read people’s blogs and then I sit there and kind of worship them for a minute. Because they all, every single one of them, are without fail, so interesting.
There’s my dear friend bubblygirl97 who blogs fanatically about running.
There’s Kate who never ceases to entertain me with her humor and drawings.
There’s Tamara who encourages me on to become a successful blogger and respond to ALL my comments.
There’s Jenny who really ought to blog more often!!!
And of course Em, who never ceases to amuse me–keep at it you little bunny slave 😉
And this random guy who never posts on his blog but asked to be included as well. 😉
And then there are the hundreds of other blogs that I have stumbled across once or twice or read like an addict.
So thank you everyone. Your blogs are amazing! I love them all. And I hope you happen to see my tribute to you.
