101 Reasons To Smile

I hope you smile.

#50: Does Anyone Here Speak Japanese?

Well, a couple of posts ago, 5 to be exact, I went on a little bit of a rant about how much I love reading blogs. Well, I guess it wasn’t exactly a rant, but it was definitely about the reading side of blogging/blog reading.

Well, today I am going to talk about the EXACT opposite kind of blog! Photo blogs! Now, as you probably have imagined I am not a big photo blog reader, I prefer to actually read blogs. However, once in a while I stumble upon an especially original or–for lack of a better word–demiurgic blog.

The girl who takes all of these pictures 1) takes most of them herself, 2) does not photo shop the images, but instead jumps to achieve the floating look, and 3) can jump very high! (as my brother Ja says! 🙂 )

Please enjoy the below images and I encourage you to visit the blog to view more!

(They are SOOOOOOO awesome!!! 🙂 )

The Link  to the Blog: (I wish I could frame it so you would be sure to see it.)

Smile!!! (and float)

Good for Fred! I guess he passed it on to Claire, huh?
Wow! Talk about maintaining position during a jump.

I know!! That’s exactly what Fred and I were so amazed about! She looks like she is actually floating because she looks so still and at ease! It’s so awesome and hard to describe. Also, the tiniest bit creepy! Haha! =)

So I am leaving on Saturday and will be unable to take my computer with me. Could you tell Claire to check her comments real quick and see about the sending the running speech? Or post it yourself? With her permission of course.

I’m calling shenannigans. Hahaha just kidding I’m calling that a high camera shutter speed and a very facial-emotion-skilled person.

Pretty much what I was thinking. Only I wasn’t going to harangue on a young ladies ignorance! 🙂

okay geez people I had no idea you felt so deeply for parkour. my main point is that she’s like holding herself on the water fountain with one hand and I have ALWAYS wanted to be able to do that. my apologies if that doesn’t qualify as parkour…pneumonia does things to your brain

If you read my earlier comment, you would have seen that I said “high shutter speed”. High shutter speeds prevent motion blur. She can’t possibly be holding herself up, therefore she is jumping and since jumping causes motion blur; high shutter speed.

lol. Not to worry. you could do parkour off a fountain, but it wouldn’t look like that.

I agree. If she was doing parkour over the fountain, she wouldn’t be touching it and she’d be directly above it while she’s upside down. And spinning.

And apparently my comment saying that I’m a troll wasn’t validated. Hmmmmmm…
