Well, my friends, it is finally Christmas Day. Christmas Night, is what I should really say.
For the stockings have been emptied, the presents unwrapped, the Christmas feast eaten, the guest have all napped.
And now you see why I don’t want to become a poet. =)
Anyways, I hope you all had a blessed Christmas. I know I did. While things–that is traditions–were not the same as they usually were, it was still Christmas.
And I was well. Thank God.
My little siblings loved the presents I gave them, and of course I loved all the presents I received.
But, let’s not forget in the midst of all this, the one real present that we all got hundreds of years ago.
Jesus Christ.
And this is truly one of those times when I don’t have anything to say. Because I can’t even put into words how surreal, how awesome, it is that our Lord, our GOD came to earth as a baby.
Because He loved us.
Us.
We are so imperfect. We get sick. We make mistakes. We fight. We kill each other.
And He, He is so perfect.
But He still loves us.
I sound like a Christian camp counselor, but guys, this is trulyΒ the BEST love story ever!
We don’t have to do anything to gain His love. We CAN’T do anything to gain His love. He already loves us.
He always has.
And He always will.
I pray, that this Christmas, that this year, you will truly understand this, and that you will start to understand.
Smile!!!
How deep the Father’s love for us, how vast beyond all measure, that He should give His only son to make a wretch His treasure.
