I’m rather dejected today for quite a few reasons. First of all, I meant to post every other day this month, (even on Christmas!!) and my plan was going along quite well until first Speedy Bob, and then myself, came down with a virus.
Speedy Bob seems to have recovered quite well, (although with some minor complications,) however I am not so lucky. Anyways, that’s all of my lovely excuses and now I would like to tell you some symptoms of the flu. Such a fun and Christmas-y post, isn’t it? Well, truth is, my friends, the flu is pretty much the only thing on my mind these days. Oh yea, the Christmas trees and pretty lights are nice, but getting well would be so much nicer.
Okay, so here’s a little test that can tell you if you have symptoms of the flu. Even if you are perfectly well and healthy you can still read the quiz to learn more about the flu.
Any more than three of these symptoms and you could be a victim of the flu. There are also special tests you can get to tell if you have the flu, but unless you get tested within 24-48 hours of getting it you can’t get treated.
Anyhow, if you want to know more in general about the flu, its symptoms, how to treat it, and even places where you can get flu shots to try to avoid getting it and excellent website to visit is www.flu.gov. (You can also learn about swine flu, bird flu and even watch a video ย of someone getting a flu shot! How fun!!! ๐ )
Anyways, my apologies if this was one of my lamer posts. I meant to come back with a bang, but apparently I’m not even back yet.
Smi–(cough cough)–le!!!
I guess you were hanging around Speedy Bob to much and he passed it on. Hope you get better before Christmas. ๐
Out of curiosity, how did this virus affect your computer?
It wouldn’t let me type…=\
Hmm, interesting. Did it affect all programs or just your blog stuff?
Everything =P
Ouch. That may not have been a bug though. It could have just been some loose wires, causing a loss of connection between your keyboard and your computer.
I think you are probably right. Luckily getting a wireless keyboard seems to have solved the problem–whatever it was. =) (Merry Christmas!)
oh abby. even with sickness you still crack me up!!!
so glad you are better-ish now!!! ๐
Me too! =) And thank you =) (Merry Christmas!)
